5 Interesting things about the anglo-saxon

1.One of the things that caugth my attention about the anglo-saxos times was the food.some of the things that they ate were mostly crops that they crop they were like vegetarians,and also made cereal and as the base for beer.honey was the only sweeterner in use,and it was used to make the alcoholic beverage mead.and also major meats were pigs,as were cattle,goats,and sheeps.horses and oxens were raised for heavy farm labour and for transportation,though the stirrup had yet to make an appearance from the far east.

2.Another thing that i found intersting was the weapons they use when they fought,because they had to make their own weapons to protect themselves from bad.

3.Also the way they traveled was very cool which i found impresive as well they use the main routes which could be a risky bussiness.

4.Thei administration were divided into shires,mainly according to the terrotory of the first tribes,the shire was divided into hundreds,or in the danelaw,wapentakes.

5. The final thing about what i found intersting in anglo-saxon was the way they prepared themselves before goin to combat in other words to fight.and also the leisure they had when not fighting was that the fav pastime of the dark ages were dice and board games such as chess.

Favorite part of story/Beowulf

Now Grendel and i are called together,and ive come.Grant me,then, Lord and protector of his noble place,a single request i have come so far,oh shelterer or warriors amd your peoples loved friend,that this one favor you should not refuse me that i,alone and with the help of my men,may Purge all evil from this hall.I have heard,too,that the monsters scorn of menis so great that he needs no weapons and fears none.Nor i will.


The reason why i chose this part of the story is because he was brave and also had alot of confidence about himself.I like the way he stand up to grandel with alot of bravery and he fear nothing it takes alot of courage to be able to that.

1.Tell us of something you have done that no one in this class has done?Something that i done that no one in my class has done is play rock band the whole day until 10am in the morning.The reason why i did it was because i wanted to get better at it and try to past it as well.

3.Give us a brief history on your name?Well my name doesnt really have a history about my name because when my mom was gonna give birth to me she though of an old friend and she scream angel and they decide to put that name on me.
